Sion Goalie Essam Al-Hadari has been diagnosed with a slightly bruised pelvis, which entails a three-day rest, the Swiss club doctor said.

The doctor also cited the pelvic injury as a reason for the goalkeeper’s knee pain.

The 35-year-old guardian got hurt when he collided with the post during Thursday’s 3-0 loss to Basel in the Swiss League.

The Swiss club doctor recommended that he stays on the fringes until Monday.

The Egyptian goalie, on the other hand, expressed his gratitude that his injury is negligible.

"Thanks God my injury is not serious. I’m looking forward to getting back to training as soon as possible," Al-Hadari told Sion official website.

Al-Hadari has joined Sion early this season, and recently has been conceding many goals in the Swiss League.
