Egypt manager Hassan Shehata said the Pharaohs will most probably face Benin in their forthcoming exhibition on November 19th, ahead of the last world cup qualifiers phase.

According to FIFA's fixtures, Egypt are scheduled to face Tanzania in a friendly on the same date.

But Shehata assured that the African champions are not going to face Taifa Stars because they are not continently ranked.

"Kenya also have disputes with world governing body FIFA, so we would rather play against Benin," Shehata told FilGoal.com.

Benin's last meeting against Egypt was not a pleasant one for the latter.

The Squirrels prevented the Pharaohs from reaching the 2006 World cup when they held them to a 3-3 draw in a qualifier.

The six-time African champions are planning to play a host of warm-up matches to prepare for the World Cup and the African Cup of Nations qualifying stage.

Egypt have been drawn in Group C along side Algeria, Rwanda and Zambia. The Leaders will qualify for the World Cup while the first three will reach the African Cup of Nations.
