Tersana coach Mohamed Salah has left the club following the team's 1-0 league defeat at the hands of Gaish on Sunday.

"I had a meeting with president Hassan Farid and we both decided that it will be for the club's benefit that I leave," Salah told FilGoal.com on Monday.

The former Masri coach stressed that he wasn’t sacked by Farid, adding that another meeting will be held later on Monday to formally end his contract on mutual consent.

With Salah heading out of Tersana, former Ittihad coach Mohamed Omar is all but announced as the Hammers' new boss.

Omar told FilGoal.com that he agreed personal terms with the club and will meet Farid later on Monday to sign the official contract as Tersana head coach.

It is worth mentioning that the Gaish defeat left Tersana bottom of the table with just seven points from their first ten league games.
