The decision comes at the background of Chievo's 3-0 loss at Palermo on Sunday, as the club lie 18th in the table with just six points from ten games.

Lachini is the second coaching casualty in Serie A this week, after Bologna parted ways with Daniele Arrigoni on Monday and brought Sinisa Mihajlovic in his place.
