Masri coach Hossam Hassan expressed his hope that his team can beat Police Union and dedicate the win to the memory of late president Sayed Metwalli.

The former Ahli and Zamalek star convened with his players ahead of the home clash, and urged them not to be affected by Metwalli's sudden departure.

"The players have been going through a rough phase since Metwalli's death. However I asked them to use all their emotions as a motive to beat Police," Hassan told FilGoal.com.

The Port-Said club, who are ninth in the league with twelve points from eleven games, enter the clash with a near full squad.

Masri's only absentee will be striker Mohamed Al-Gabbas, who sustained an injury in the 1-1 draw against Harras Hodoud.

Meanwhile, Police Union assistant coach Mohamed Ibrahim confirmed that he's wary of Masri's spirit, especially in the wake of Mewalli's death.

Ibrahim added that special sessions were held with the players to prepare them for facing Masri in the current circumstances.

After winning their last two games against Ismaili and Asyut Petroleum, high flying Police, are on a run of four games without defeat.

The brilliant form saw Talaat Youssef's team climb off the bottom of the table to reach 13th position with eleven points.
