Al-Tabie has been out of action since being released by Zamalek in the close season.

He was heavily linked with a move to Egyptian League newcomers Police Union but the negotiations did not materialize.

Al-Tabie is no stranger to the Turkish Super Lig, having spent two seasons playing for Rizespor.

He will be the third Egyptian to play there this season. Defensive duo Amir Azmi and Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa play for Hacettepe Spor and Genclerbirligi respectively.
