Essam Al-Hadari criticized Sion chairman-coach Christian Constantin over the latter's comments regarding the Egypt goalie's place in the first team.

Al-Hadari returned to the starting line-up in Sion's 3-1 win over Vaduz on Saturday after he missed the 2-1 defeat at Bellinzona last week.

Constantin claimed last week that Hadari's exclusion from the Bellinzona game was a tactical decision, issuing a warning for the veteran keeper.

"I was shocked by Constantin's comments after the Bellinzona match, he said that he decided to exclude me, but that is not the truth," Hadari told FilGoal.com.

"He also said that I am in danger of losing my place in the first team if I did not improve. But I returned against Vaduz, and that proves my point.

"What happened is that I asked to skip the game because I did not feel 100% fit, and also because I was distracted by the team's poor form."

Hadari is set to leave Sion in the winter break, as a move to the French Ligue1 could well be the next move for the ex-Ahli guardian.
