
The Egyptian pair of Mohamed Abdul-Wahed and Mohamed Samir played well as SK Lierse beat KSK Ronse 2-0 in the Belgian second division.
The win lifts Lierse to second position in the table with 24 points, the club's best so far in the season.
Lierse opened the scoring on nine minutes thanks to a Jurgen cavens strike.
On 31 minutes, Abdul-Wahed dished out a superb pass releasing Canadian striker Tomasz Radzinski to net the second.
While Samir and Abdul-Wahed took part, fellow Egyptians Islam Shokri and Sherif Al-Beyali were unavailable for the game due to injury and suspension respectively.
While the Belgain second division champions get directly promoted for the Jupiler League, teams from second to fifth compete for the second proomotion spot.
It is worth noting that SK Lierse is owned by Egyptian businessman Maged Sami.
