"The club will hold a board meeting on Wednesday to discuss the broadcasting rights issue," Amer told FilGoal.com on Friday.

"We may decide to prohibit several TV networks from airing our matches, because we seek to generate more income for the club.

"Zamalek are open to any kind of cooperation with Ahli regarding that problem."

The Cairo derby between Ahli and Zamalek, which was scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed for an indefinite period.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) insisted the match would not take place unless they reach a compromise with Ahli on the crisis.

Earlier this week, Ahli said they would just allow the national TV to air the game on terrestrial channels and the Egyptian Satellite Channel (ESC).

The African champions decided to take such a stance after launching Ahli TV in August.

There is confusion in Egypt over who owns the broadcasting rights. There are no definite regulations that clarify the matter.
