Zamalek lifted the ban imposed on midfielder Mohamed Aboul-Ella, the club's football director Ahmed Refaat said on Friday.

Aboul-Ella, one of Egypt's one-club players, was suspended earlier this month as a disciplinary measure.

"The player's conduct has been very good since he was punished," Refaat told FilGoal.com

Four other players, including forward Gamal Hamza and left-back Osama Hassan, were also suspended for an indefinite period.

"The rest of the punished players also have a chance to get back to the first team, but they must show discipline."

Zamalek coach Reiner Hollmann has partially overhauled the team's squad after a string of poor results.

Several youngsters were promoted to the first team in an attempt to rejuvenate the underperforming squad.
