The Cairo giants dropped ten points from their past four league games, as supporters have once again poured their rage on the players on Sunday.

Youth team quartet Alaa Ali, Ahmed Ibrahim, Hossam Arafat and Hazem Emam were on the losing side at Cairo Stadium, as they had to witness some hostile taunts by the home fans.

"Fans should give young players a chance, they cannot handle such pressure," Abdul-Monsef, who was on the bench against the Dervishes, told FilGoal.com.

"Youngsters represent the club's future, they are the ones who can bring back the glory days to Zamalek.

"When they are put under too much pressure, the results could be negative."

Abdul-Monsef, who was part of Egypt's CAN 2008 winning squad, has been playing second-fiddle to Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed since the start of the season.

The 30-year-old has been granted permission from the club to fly to Saudi Arabia in order to perform Hajj this week.
