Greek club eye Yassine - agent

Egyptian full back Omar Yassine has received an offer from a Greek club, according to his agent Ahmed Adul-Rahman.

The agent told FilGoal.com the former Ahli defender caught the eye of the club tactician, and the latter wants to land him once the transfer window re-opens in January.

Adul-Rahman refused to disclose identity of the suitor in the meantime, preferring to reveal it after the transfer completion.

"Yassine is going to have a one-week trial at the Greek club in mid-December, and the deal is due be wrapped up shortly after," he said.

Unsuccessful Spell

The defender, son of former Ahli star Rabie Yassine, came through the African champions' youth ranks.

He made his senior debut with minnows Tersana, where he spent one season before moving to Belgium's SK Lierse.

Eventually, the 20-year-old joined Turnhout on a loan basis, but he decided to end his Belgian adventure after failing to win a regular spot.

He's a free agent after terminating his contract with Lierse.
