However, Television replays suggested that the Swedish striker was in an offside position when he connected with Cambiasso’s cross.

Inter’s sixth successive league win cements their position on top of the table with 36 points, nine ahead of Juventus and AC Milan.

Juventus and Milan could narrow the gap if they win their respective league games on Sunday.
