"A senior Zamalek official contacted me regarding the purchase of Mohamed Adel," Shiha told FilGoal.com.

The 22-year-old player has earlier revealed that Ahli were interested in acquiring his services, and the mounting interest from the Cairo giants seems to have raised the player's price tag.

"We have set a new price for the player. Any club interested in luring him will have to pay Shebin EGP 3 million in addition to 25% of the player's next transfer," added Shiha.

Adel, who plays as a sweeper and can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder has been featuring for Shebin in the Egyptian first division since he was 17.
