Sayed Moawad and Rami Adel will start for African champions Ahli against Adelaide United in the Club World Cup on Thursday.

Egypt left-back Moawad will replace Angolan international Gilberto while center-back Adel completes the back three alongside Wael Gomaa and Shadi Mohamed.

Adel plays instead of Ahmed Al-Sayed.

Ahli defenders were criticized after the 4-2 defeat against Mexican side Pachuca in their first match of the tournament earlier this week.

The other nine players keep their places in the starting line-up.

Ahli eye a victory over Adelaide, runners-up in the Asian Champions League, to settle fifth in the standings.
