Bellamy heading towards Spurs?

Tottenham have reportedly started talks with West Ham United over bringing striker Craig Bellamy to White Hart Lane in January.

The Hammers are suffering from a poor financial situation, which suggests that they might be forced to sell some of their key players.

West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola has earlier expressed his determination to keep high-profile players at Upton Park.

However, reports in the British media confirm that Spurs are trying to lure the Welsh striker with a bid of over £8 million.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is keen on increasing his attacking options, as Roman Pavlyuchenko and Darrent Bent are the only strikers within his first team.

Prior to joining West Ham, nomad Bellamy played for Coventry City, Newcastle United, Glasgow Celtic, Blackburn Rovers and Liverpool.
