Even though he declared his admiration to David Beckham, Roma icon Francesco Totti believes the arrival of the England ace could unbalance the all-star AC Milan side.

Beckham joined the likes of Kaka, Ronaldinho, Andrei Shevchenko and Andrea Pirlo after completing a loan move from LA Galaxy last month.

The 33-year-old winger is in line to make his Milan debut against Roma when the Serie A resumes next week, as Totti fancies his team's chances against the star-studded Rossoneri.

"He is an icon and I'm glad that he has chosen to play in our League, even if it is only for a short while," Totti said on TG1.

"Milan are a very strong team, but let's hope that Carlo Ancelotti decides to field all of his big-name players together.

"I honestly think that could be an advantage for us because the team would be unbalanced."

Becks was poised to make his debut in Milan's exhibition game with Hamburg in Dubai on Tuesday, but the former Manchester United man suffered a slight injury in training this week.
