Mansoura couldn’t take advantage of playing at home as they were held by lower division Bani Obeid to a goalless draw for 120 minutes.

The defeat puts an end to Bani Obeid’s adventure, after the club stunned the whole country by beating Zamalek in the competition’s second round.

Mansoura will be facing the winner of Gaish and Petrojet, who will play on Thursday.
