Ahli duo Hossam Ashour and Hussein Yasser have got back to training after recuperating from their injuries.

According to the Cairo giants' official website, both midfielders took part in Monday's session and participated in a practice match afterwards.

The recently-recovered pair will take part in another especial training session tonight to work on their fitness alongside playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika, who has just returned from a check-up in Germany.

Ashour was suffering a harsh thigh muscle knock that he picked up during the 1-0 win over Ismaili in the Egyptian Premier League.

On the other hand, Yasser pulled a hamstring when he was on international duty with Qatar during the 19th Gulf Cup.

Moreover, Ahmed Al-Sayed is close to returning to action as he has finally overcome his ankle injury.

Medical staff chief Ihab Ali stated that the defender's condition has noticeably improved after he had undergone a rehabilitation program.

Ahli are aiming to defeat Gaish in the last rescheduled league game in order to cement their place at the table summit.

The six-time African champions lie first with 32 points, two ahead of second-placed Petrojet.
