“We created a lot of chances without ever putting one away. It ended in penalties and with penalties you always need a bit of luck.

“At the moment, we simply don’t have any luck. We played a great game. I am very disappointed. We deserved more.”

Reja’s team will now be left to fight for a UEFA Cup place via Serie A, as they are eighth in the table with 34 points.
