Recent reports suggested that Ahli were interested in luring Raouf, especially after the player said that he nearly joined the Red Devils before joining his current club.

“Raouf is a very good player, but we understand that he has a contract with ENPPI,” Al-Badri told Ahli’s official website.

“We have a very respectful relation with ENPPI and all the Egyptian clubs, and if we were to buy Raouf we’d have approached his club first.

The 26-year-old hit man produced some impressive displays for ENPPI this season, where he became the league’s second top scorer with seven goals.

After helping his club to a current third position in the table, as well as reaching the Egyptian Cup final, Raouf earned a call up to the Egyptian national side.
