Messi, Henry to put friendship aside in Marseille

Barcelona aces Lionel Messi and Thierry Henry will go face-to-face as France take on Argentina in a friendly in Marseille on Wednesday.

Messi is enjoying an outstanding alliance with Henry at Nou Camp this season, but the Argentine prodigy is aiming beat his clubmate at Velodrome.

"For us there is no such thing as a friendly. We have three options: win, win or win," Messi was quoted by UEFA's official site.

Messi sounded his admiration to France's all-time leading goalscorer, who netted 12 goals in the Primera Liga so far this term.

"I would love to have his skill in finishing off a move; his running, his dribbling, his finishing," he added.

In return, Henry paid tribute to the 21-year-old wizard, who is ten years younger than him.

"I have a lot of respect for him. The things he does on the pitch are extraordinary," said the former Arsenal hitman.
