Six-time African champions Egypt dropped 15 places in the monthly FIFA ranking to run off the top-20 list.

The Pharaohs reached their first-ever position last month when they moved up to 15th spot but they couldn't hold onto it, reversing to 30th place.

Egypt's retreat comes despite their 1-0 friendly victory over Kenya in their only match during the past month.

Hassan Shehata's side remain on top of Arab countries but come third in Africa following Nigeria and Cameroon, who lie 23rd and 16th respectively.

The top ten stayed the same, with European champions Spain leading the ranking, followed by Germany, Holland, Italy, Brazil and Argentina.
