Saudi paper Al-Watan confirmed that Ittihad have reversed their decision to sack Calderon, after the board's failure to find a replacement for the Argentine tactician.

From his side, Calderon assured the board that he will not be heading back to Argentina for holidays in order to focus on Ittihad's current campaign.

Ittihad, whom Egyot striker Emad Meteb plays for are still on top of the Saudi League table, the club were recently eliminated from the domestic cup semi-final at the hands of Nasr.
