Ismaili board member Khaled Farw said that he hopes defender Ibrahim Saied will stay at the club.

Saied has been absent from the club's training for a while now, and the former Ahli and Zamalek man stressed that he's looking for a move away from the Dervishes.

However, Farw confirmed that he will do his best to convince the 30-year-old to retreat his decision and rejoin his Ismaili teammates.

"I'm doing all my best to help and resolve the ongoing conflict between Saied and the club board," Farw told FilGoal.com.

"The club needs his efforts, and his presence with will be a massive support for us."

The whole Saied saga started when the board decided to deduct $200,000 from the player's financial dues, which are the sum Ismaili paid to acquire the player in the summer.

As a result, the player abandoned the team's training without excuse and refused to be subjected to a fact finding before rejoining the club.

In the meantime, Farw added that the club are on the verge of offering midfielder Mohamed Hommos a new deal.

"Hommos has always been very reasonable with his demands, and we'll be more than glad to keep him with us."
