The Red Devils' official website confirmed that assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri and marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi were assigned by the board to offer the duo new contracts.

Both players will be free agents by the end of the current season, and Ahli are keen to settle their stay with the clubs within the next few weeks.

It's been suggested by the media that Gomaa asked for EGP one million per season as a condition to pen a new contract, but the 34-year-old denied such reports.

"I never asked for EGP one million a season. We just decided to postpone the new contract's talk till after the club's commitments," Gomaa said last week.
