Telecom, who made an excellent start to the season, slipped to become third from bottom in the Egyptian Premier League after failing to win in their last seven games.

Consequently, Toulan is relishing the prospect of upsetting his former club and putting an end to his side's poor run of results.

"I revealed my anger to players after the recent results, especially with the Zamalek game coming," the Telecom manager told FilGoal.com.

"It will be a crucial match and we are eager to win. So any below-par performance is unacceptable.

"We've got some important games ahead and I think we have a chance to stay in the top flight if only the players focused and maintained their discipline."

However, the ex-Harras Hodoud boss had time to praise some members of his underachieving team.

"I have to say that there are some players who deserve credit like Fouad Salama, Mahmoud Samir and Ahmed Gaafar," he added.
