The current TV presenter and Egyptian FA counsellor said that Jose made enemies with many journalists due to his lack of respect to Egyptian media.

"It's obvious that there's no love lost between Jose and the media," Shobeir told Al-Hayat newspaper.

"He always responds to criticism in a very bad manner and such attitude subjected him to more attacks from the media."

Shobeir added that Jose showed ignorance when he sarcastically gifted him the African Super Cup in a press conference.

"He did this as a response to my campaign against Ahli ultras' on and off the pitch violations. He doesn’t understand how serious these fans' negative behaviour is."

Shobeir was recently accused of attacking former Zamalek president Mortada Mansour on television.

"I only talked about Mansour in my show during an episode about the year's low points for Zamalek.

"I have nothing personal towards Mansour, but it is not my fault that he is the man behind all the club's troubles."
