The Egyptian FA handed Asyut Petroleum striker Henry Akile a four-game suspension and fined him EGP 10,000 for his inappropriate goal celebration during Monday's 2-2 draw with Ahli.

The Nigerian hitman pulled down his shorts while celebrating Petroleum's second, and was yellow carded as a result.

Other Asyut players were sanctioned by the FA for their improper conducts during the Egyptian Premier League game.

Samir Sabri has been summoned to a hearing for insulting referee Mohamed Farouk.

Tamer Habib was banned for three matches and handed a EGP 5,000 fine for his strong protest against the referee.

The FA issued a warning on their official website about players' on-pitch misconducts, saying harsh punishments will be imposed on all culprits without leniency.
