AC Milan have coaxed Los Angeles Galaxy into extending David Beckham's stay at the San Siro till the end of the current season, according to Sky Sports News.

The Rossoneri have been holding talks with the Major League Soccer side for quite a while, but the latter were reluctant to agree a permanent deal for Beckham.

Pursuant to the new agreement, the 33-year-old will remain at Milan until the start of June, and will return to LA Galaxy in the second half of the MSL this term.

By next season, Beckham will reportedly rejoin Milan on a new deal that is likely to suit all parties.

Beckham moved to Milan on a three-month loan deal in the past winter transfer Window.

The Veteran midfielder originally planned to have a brief stint in the Serie A just to keep his fitness up during the MSL break.

But after making a tangible impact, coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed his strong desire to keep the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star for more than three months.

On the other hand, Beckham relishes his successful adventure and lifestyle in Italy, so does his wife Victoria, who's eager to stay in the fashion capital.
