Zamalek striker Gamal Hamza is set to have a trial at Vasalunds IF, who are interested in signing the 27-year-old on a four-month deal.

Vasalunds, a Swedish second division side, have made a bid of €50,000 to acquire the services of the unsettled hitman.

Hamza confirmed that the offer has been sent to Zamalek, and apparently the latter have no reservations about the potential deal.

"I agreed with Zamalek's board that I will travel to Sweden soon in order to undergo a trial at Vasalunds," he told FilGoal.com.

Hamza, whose contract with the White Kinghts runs out by next summer, couldn't reach an agreement with his club over a contract extension.

For this reason, he's widely expected to move away from the Cairo club by the end of the current season.

First Division

Hamza revealed his ambition to play in the Swedish top flight after having a brief spell at second tier Vasalunds.

"Vasalunds chairman owns two clubs; Vasalunds and Djurgarden IF, who compete in the first division," Hamza said.

"I will spend four months at Vasalunds, and maybe I will seal another move to Djurgarden afterwards."

Although he has already decided to leave, Hamza said he might stay at Zamalek for another season, saying he'll make up his mind after the board election.

"I might stay with Zamalek, but that depends on the election result in the summer," he elaborated.

"Some of the candidates are not qualified to take charge of the club, so if one of them won the election, I would definitely carry on my career elsewhere."
