Midfielder Seth De Witte headed home the Egyptian winger’s free-kick three minutes before the break as Lierse had the lead.

Veteran striker Tomasz Radzinski sealed the victory eight minutes after the interval.

Lierse, who aim to seal promotion to the top flight after playing two seasons in the lower division, remained second in the table on 59 points, five behind leaders Sint Truidense.

The four-time Belgian champions meet Sint Truidense on March 25th.

The league winner directly qualifies for the Belgian first division while teams from the second to the fifth places enter promotion play-offs.
