Hoffenheim fined by German FA

Hoffenheim have been fined €75,000 as two of their players didn't take a doping test in time, following a German league game last month, according to the official website of the Bundesliga.

Duo Andreas Beck and Christoph Janker were only 10 minutes late for the test after a 1-1 draw with Moenchengladbach on February 7th.

Moenchengladbach filed a complaint at the time, although the pair's samples were negative.

The complaint was withdrawn Later on, all the same, the spots court of the German Football association (DFB) punished newly-promoted side Hoffenheim.

Club doping official Peter Geigle was also handed a €2,500 fine for not informing both players, who went unpunished, of the compulsory test.
