Barcelona have a six-point advantage over title holders Real with 11 matches to go.

The Catalans, who booked a last-eight berth in the Champions League and will face Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey final, are in formidable form and appear close to winning their first league title sine 2006.

But Real skipper Raul, who became the team's all-time scorer after surpassing the record of Alfredo di Stefano earlier this season, is not willing to give up the league pursuit.

"We can do it and we know it is possible, even though the gap is important," he told AS on Wednesday.

"We have to commit as few errors as possible, go game by game and pick up three points each time, but if Barcelona continue as they are, all we can do is congratulate them. We will not give up though.

"It is easier for us to win at this stage than five matches ago. While there are points in play we are going to fight, we will try to close the gap."
