Zambia coach Herve Renard stated that his men are not in awe of Egypt ahead of both teams' 2010 World Cup qualifier on Sunday.

The Pharaohs are widely expected to book a place in the gigantic competition, and yet, the Chipolopolo boss has high hopes of outclassing the six-time African champions.

Renard pointed out that he saw minnows sides upset high-profile teams on numerous occasions, refereeing to a recent surprise in the Premier League.

"Fullham beat Manchester United on Saturday. They were not scared of a big name like Cristiano Ronaldo, big names are nothing.

"We are playing Egypt as a team. They have good players but we have to have the confidence that we can get a good result out of the game," he said.

The Egyptians host Zambia on March 29th at Cairo stadium in the last phase of the qualifiers.

The last meeting between both outfits ended in a 1-1 draw in the 2008 African Cup of Nations, with strikes from Amr Zaki and Christopher Katongo.

On his selection for the clash with Hassan Shehata's side, Renard said any of his players could make the squad.

"Everybody is able to be in the squad. No priority will be given to the players," the Frenchman explained.

"Each player will have to convince me with their form that they can work hard for the team and for their country. Form will determine who plays in Egypt."
