England coach Fabio Capello stated that he has no problem with Wayne Rooney's short fuse, following the misconduct of the international striker in Manchester United's 2-0 loss to Fulham.

Rooney flew off the handle in the dying minutes of the Premiership game, and aggressively throw the ball to receive his second caution.

On his way out, the 23-year-old took his frustration out on the corner flag, which suggested he's having an anger management problem ahead of England's stern 2010 World Cup qualifier against Ukraine.

However, Capello believes Rooney's fiery temper is not a serious issue, saying sometimes moderate aggression comes in handy.

"For me Rooney is a very good player. He's young. Sometimes his reaction is not so good, but he's a good player and a good man," he said on Sky Sports News.

"I think at this moment he was a little angry because they were losing and he was red-carded. That's why he did this. But there's no problem with Rooney in the future.

"I spoke with him. I'm very happy after I spoke. Sometimes we need to be a little bit aggressive during the game. I hope the level of aggression will be balanced.

"This is very important. I'm sure he'll play very, very well with us. We want the team to be aggressive. Good aggression."

Crazy man

Days ago, Capello described Rooney as a 'crazy man', when asked about the latter's bizarre dismissal on Saturday.

But the former Real Mardid boss assured that he was trying to laugh off the incident by making a joke.

"I said it, but it was a joke. He understood that it was a joke," he explained.

"I was a player and sometimes I did the same. It depends on the moment, the score, the opponents, a lot of things."
