The 27-year-old put his signature to a four-month contract with the second division side, without the consent of the Cairo club.

But if the White Knights insist to keep hold of him, he will have to see his current contract through and join the Swedish outfit later in August.

"Zamalek haven't given me the go-ahead yet. The worst-case scenario is that I will postpone my move till next term," he said in quotes released to FilGoal.com.

"My contract runs out at the end of this season. When I become a free agent I will be free to join any club I want."

Hamza pointed out it would be in Zamalek's best interest to accept the offer at the present time.

"Zamalek will get nothing if I join Vasalunds on a free agent, but they will get €50,000 should they give me the green light this season," he explained.

Hamza, who came through Zamalek's youth ranks, played down allegations that some Vasalunds officials believe he's not up to scratch.

"This is so untrue, I have already penned a contract with them," he commented.
