Mido and Bruce worked together at Wigan

Wigan Athletic were condemned to a 4-0 loss by Everton on Sunday in the Premier League, with Mido playing as a lone striker for the Latics.

Brazilian frontman Jo, who plays for the Toffees on loan from Manchester City, opened the scoring on 26 minutes, before Marouane Fellaini added the second right after the interval.

Jo notched his second goal shortly after, taking advantage of Wigan sloppy defending, and Leon Osman completed the rout on 61 minutes

Egypt striker Mido couldn't make any difference throughout the game.

The towering hitman was close to putting Steve Bruce's side in front early in the first half, but his volley missed the target.

His compatriot Amr Zaki, who was lately panned by Bruce, hasn't rejoined Wigan since the Pharaohs' 1-1 draw with Zambia in the World Cup qualifiers final phase.

Wigan remain eighth in the league table on 41 points, While Everton advanced to six place with 51 points.
