Club official Nawaf ben Mubarak told the club's official website that negotiations have been halted because of Ahli' crippling demands.

Ahli marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi was left bemused after hearing Mubarak's comments, confirming that Ahli already accepted Rayan's offer of $150,000.

"We didn’t make any more demands. All Rayan needed to do was just send us the agreed fee but they didn’t," Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com.

Yasser joined Ahli in the summer, but has yet to establish himself as a regular player for the Red Devils.
