Inter Milan distressed striker Adriano will not quit football, but needs two months to redeem himself, according to his agent.

Not only had he failed to report back to his club from international duty two weeks ago, but the Brazilian has also announced recently that he 'lost the joy of playing'.

Adriano's attitude provoked speculation over his career, but agent Gilmar Rinaldi ruled out that the 27-year-old is anywhere near quitting the game.

"First of all, Adriano is calm and well. Last week was good for him. He just needs two months to find himself," Rinaldi told Mediaset on Tuesday.

"In my view he will not quit football as I have read. It is not the right moment to talk about it. We need to evaluate the situation, the player and the man."

Adriano has been suffering from psychological problems throughout the past couple of seasons, which witnessed the death of his father last year.

The well-built frontman has been increasingly losing his form before being tamed by coach Jose Mourinho at the start of the season, but obviously his upturn didn't last long.

Other Offers

Rinaldi denied that Adri could be moving either to Turkey or Brazil in the summer, as he believes his client still has a future at San Siro.

"The rumors about offers from Turkey and Brazil are not true," he added.

"Adriano still has 14 months left on his Inter contract and he might stay. We will talk about it with the club."
