The Ukrainian ace was tipped to extend his stay at Hertha, and yet, the club couldn't reach an agreement with the Reds over a permanent deal.
The 29-year-old was seemingly eager to sign a new contract with the German outfit in order not to get back to Liverpool, where he failed to secure a regular spot since joining a couple of years ago.
"On the matter of my contract there has been no movement in Berlin," Voronin told German newspaper Bild.
"Liverpool made a good offer which Hertha did not accept. It is a shame that it may not go through.
"I have already ordered the boxes and am moving out of the apartment within a month-and-a-half."
Hertha could re-open talks with the Premiership club should they reach the UEFA Champions League and make substantial profit from their participation in the gigantic competition.
Voronin put in a series of impressive displays at the capital side, having netted 11 goals in the Bundesliga this term.
