The final day of submitting Zamalek's elections applications witnessed the introduction of four new names, who will all be running for the club's presidency.

Mahmoud Khaled, Nasser Hassanein, Mohamed Fekri and Salama Al-Hagrasi will all be eying the presidency seat in the elections which will be held on May 29th.

The final four take the presidency elections' tally to nine candidates, after former bosses Kamal Darwish, Mortada Mansour and Mamdouh Abbas and newcomers Khaled Al-Qawshi and Abdul-Tawab Khalaf announced their intention to take part.

Khaled is Mansour's brother in law, meaning that the Mansour family will have three names in the elections as Mansour's son Ahmed will be running for a place in the new board.

Zamalek's elections will take place on May after the National Sports Council accepted Mansour's appeal at the invalidity of appointing former boss Abbas.
