In the tie which was held in Alexandria, Abdul-Malek hit the net on four minuets before Abdul-Salam Nagah added a second in the 21st minute.

Abdul-Malek wrapped up the Egyptian side's win with a third on 63 minutes.

The Egyptian Cup holders controlled possession throughout most of the game, and Abdul-Malek opened the score line after capitalizing on a rebound from Ahmed Abdul-Ghani's shot.

Nagah made it two for Tarek Al-Ashri's men after being released thanks to a through ball from Mohamed Mekki.

Abdul-Malek scored his personal second after rounding two Gafsa defenders before placing his shot past the visitors' keeper.
