Current Bayern coach Jurgen Klinsmann is already under immense pressure following the team's humiliating Champions League elimination at the hands of Barcelona.

"I don't know what is going to happen. We will now see if Bayern will continue with Klinsmann," Toni was quoted as saying by Bild.

"But it is clear that if an Italian coach came – especially someone as good as Mancini – it would be really good for the club."

The Bavarians are also fighting over the Bundesliga title with four other clubs, and Toni believes that winning the league will determine if Klinsmann stays or goes.

"I think it will depend upon what happens at the end of the season. Then the club will decide."

Former Lazio and Fiorentina coach Mancini has been out of work since getting sacked by Inter after last season's end.
