Borussia Dortmund beat Hamburg 2-0 at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday to go sixth in the Bundesliga table.

The Black Yellows are now one place away from securing a UEFA Cup spot, as they are level on 49 points with sixth- placed Schalke.

Egyptian striker Mohamed Zidan started the game on the bench for Dortmund before replacing Nelson Haedo Valdez ten minutes from time.

Veteran midfielder Sebastian Kehl put Jurgen Koppe's men ahead on 33 minutes before an 89th minute penalty-kick from Alexandre Frei sealed the home side's win.

Zidan, who moved to Dortmund from Hamburg in the summer, scored five goals for his new team so far in the season.
