Juventus striker David Trezeguet is seeking a way out of the club due to lack of first team football, the Frenchman's agent Antonio Caliendo revealed.

Trezeguet fell down the pecking order at Claudio Ranieri's team this season, and it's obvious that the 31-year-old wants to resurrect his career somewhere else.

"He (Trezeguet) cannot be happy at this. Ask coach Claudio Ranieri if he would be happy to be Jose Mourinho’s assistant manager," Caliendo told Sport Mediaset.

Caliendo added that if his client became a surplus to Juventus requirements, the Old Lady would have to let him look for regular spot at another club.

"David is a great professional and has always shown great affection towards the fans and the shirt.

"He has always trained hard and was ready to play when called upon, even if it was just for five minutes. Now the ball is in Juve’s court."

Terezegol's progress with Juve this season has been hindered by a shoulder injury in addition to the presence of first choice strikers Alessandro Del Piero and Amauri.

Since joining Juventus from Monaco in 2000, the Argentina-born man scored over 130 goals for the Turin club.
