Petrojet have received an enquiry from Ahli over the possibility of signing playmaker Walid Soliman in a part-exchange deal, FilGoal.com understands.

The Red Devils are believed to have offered two players for the services of Soliman, who has just finished a four-month loan spell at Ahli Jeddah.

Petrojet had an opportunity to make two choices between Hussein Ali, Ahmed Hassan Farag, and Rami Adel in exchange for their star man.

However, the Suez club are hoping to get all three players plus EGP 1million, according to a club official who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Fringe trio Ali, Farag and Adel have all been pleading for first-team football this season as the latter spent the past few months on loan with Masri.

On the other hand, Soliman revealed last year that he is flattered by Ahli's interest and would be glad if his club allowed him to join the African champions.

The 24-year-old still has three years left on his contract with the coastal club.
