Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Abdullah was expelled from Saturday's training session after he got into a fist fight with teammate Mahmoud Samir, and the club will take disciplinary measures on him soon.

"He (Abdullah) will be sanctioned for his misbehavior pursuant to our regulations," assistant coach Sami Al-Sheshini told FilGoal.com.

Both players had an altercation during a practice match, after they refused to exchange passes with each other.

Abdullah eventually got enraged and swore at his teammate to start a scuffle, which was immediately ended after the intervention of some technical staff members and players.

Shortly after, Zamalek football director coach Mahmoud Saad dismissed Abdullah, who was held culpable for the on-field spat.

On his way out, the 27-year-old embroiled in another argument with a host of Zamalek fans, after they blamed him for his misconduct.

The White Knights will see the season through by facing Police Union on May 20th in the Egyptian Premier League.
