Egyptian FA president Samir Zaher said that the Egyptian Premier League final round fixtures will be taking place on Wednesday and Thursday as previously scheduled.
"No games will be postponed. The final round May 20th and 21st," Zaher told FilGoal.com.
Several reports suggested that all footballing events might be rescheduled due to the unfortunate death of Egypt president Mohamed Hosni Mubarak's grandson.
The Premier League could well be decided on Wednesday, as joint leaders Ahli and Ismaili will take on Gaish and Tersana respectively.
The rest of the final round's games will be held on Thursday.
Ahli and Ismaili are tied on 60 points and the two teams will meet in a league decider on May 24th if they win Wednesday's clashes.
