Algeria coach Rabeh Saadane has named a 25-man squad for the upcoming 2010 World Cup qualifier Group C game against Egypt on June 7th.

Saadane made the surprising decision of omitting ES Setif's Lamouri Djediat and Nimes defender Abderraouf Zarabi.

The pair has been included in every Algeria squad since Saadane took over the team.

Nonetheless, the squad witnessed the return of JS Kabylie playmaker Hussein Achiou, who scored Algeria's infamous winner against Egypt in the 2004 African Cup of Nations.

Karim Ziani and Anthar Yahia were both called up for the crucial encounter, after they missed the Rwanda draw due to suspension and injury respectively.

Algeria's preparations for the Pharaohs' game will commence by holding a training camp in France on May 25th.

The Desert Foxes are third in qualifications final stage Group C level on one point with Egypt, Rwanda and Zambia.
